metres north of the Old Rectory

Walling and railings. Early C19. Ham stone ashlar, wrot-iron railings. Wall flanks the drive to The Old Rectory (qv)
and the Church of St George (qv), about 1.25 metres high, with moulded coping: break opposite the facade of the Old
Rectory, and curved east end; to each end of the two lenths of wall an octagonal pier with chamfered plinth and moulded
pointed cap: in the gap a turning circle, and a roughly semi-circular sweep of wrot-iron railings with pointed-arched
hooped tops. Provides a formal approach to both the Old Rectory (qv) and the Church of St George (qv).
