9/134 No 14, and front boundary railings

GV II

Detached house. Early C19. Ham stone coursed rubble, ashlar dressings, front elevation rendered and colourwashed; Welsh
slate roof between stepped coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Rusticated ashlar quoins:
16-pine sash windows in plain surrounds. To lower bay 2 a six-panel door, now part-glazed, in panelled recess. Plain
gables. Interior not seen. About 6 metres north of house a low ashlar boundary wall across whole frontage, on which are
wrought-iron railings about 1.2 metre high having spearpoint tops with scroll barbs: opposite the doorway a pair of
matching gates, the supporting iron posts having urn finials.
