GV II*

Semi-detached house. Mid C18. Ham stone ashlar; Welsh slate roof over stone slate base courses between coped gables;
ashlar chimney stacks. Two storeys with attics, 5-bay north elevation. Plinth, dentilled cornice, end pilasters:
12-pane sash windows in architraves, that to first floor centre bay with scroll decoration to sides. In bay 3 a 6-panel
door in stone surround having attached Ionic columns, entablature, and balustraded panel under the window. C20 garages
and extension to east gable. Formal 5-day south elevation. Interior not seen. Part of a major house which formerly
incorporated Little Manor (qv) and West Manor (qv), this portion includes all the principal rooms. (VCH Somerset, Vol
IV, 1978, p64).
