GV II

Direction sign. Probably late C19. Concrete post, cast iron arm. Of pre-Somerset County Council pattern. rectangular
plate with lipped edges, chamfered corners to the outer ends, reads 'WAYFORD' in cast Roman lettering; the thick and
thin strokes of the W, A and Y reversed. Of curiosity value, and group value with the parish boundary marker and
milestone (qv) nearby.
