8/39 Latchmore



Cottage. Mid C17, extended later on both sides. Local stone rubble
roughly coursed, Ham stone dressings; thatch between coped gables; C20
brick chimney stacks. 2-storeys, 5-bays of which bay-l probably an early
C20 addition and bay-5 somewhat earlier; rear entrance. 2-light leaded
casement windows to bay 1, then hollow chamfered windows to ground floor
bays 2, 3 and 4, 2 and 3-light leaded casement windows to first floor
and both levels bay 5.
