Pair of cottages. Circa 1860. Red brick in English bond, but with the
alternate stretcher courses in glazed black brick, Ham stone quoins and
dressings; plain clay tiles with ornamental tile bands and ornamental
ridge; central brick chimney stack. 2-storeys, 2-bays. Outside timber
arched porches with tiled roofs; centre bay to each house projecting and
double-glazed with plain bargeboards and wood finial; chamfer mullioned
windows without labels having rectangular leaded lights, 3-lights below
and 2-lights above. One of 3 identical pairs in this parish connected
with the Goodford estate, this being an ornamented brick version of the
stone pair at Hinton Farm (qv).
