2 metres South of gateway to
Trinity House
GV II

Milestone. C19. Ham stone pillar with shaped case iron plaque. Pillar
450mm wide x 200 thick by 750mm high, triangular head. Plaque has
straight sides, arched top and bottom, and reads, in lower case letters
"Marston Magna 2, Yeovil 3". Part of the street furniture for the Yeovil
Turnpike Trust, set up in 1753.
