Milestone. C19. Ham stone pillar with shaped cast iron plaque. Pillar
450mm wide x 200mm thick, 750mm high, roughly triangular head. Plaque
has straight sides, arched top and bottom, and reads, in lower case
letters, "Marston Magna 3, Yeovil 2". Part of the street furniture for
the Yeovil Turnpike Trust, set up in 1753.
