4/150 The Manor House

House. Late C18. Local stone random coursed, with Ham stone dressings;
Welsh slates between coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. 2-storeys,
5-bays, Central 6-fielded panel door in shouldered architrave with
pediment over; large paned sash window with margins in simple key-stoned
architraves, the right-hand upper windows having inserted fanliqhts,
Large lean-to extension at rear in brick and stone, but incorporating
two 3-light ovolo mullioned windows with labels at ground floor level.
Modern single storey extension on South side. Not to be confused with
the Elizabethan Manor House, home of the Feaver family and inhabited
until circa 1900, now demolished: this stood South-west of the church on
or near the site of West Camel House - not included.
