Farmhouse, formerly 2 or 3 cottages. C17 with modifications. Cut and
squared local stone; double Roman clay tiles over thatch, plain verges;
centre and end brick chimney stacks. 2-storeys, 4 windows each floor
with irregular fenestration. 3-and 4-light casement windows under
exposed timber lintols: off-centre doorway to right masked by mid C20
semi-glazed porch with flat roof reusing earlier door, portholl window
left of porch. 2-storey extension to rear originally housed dairy.
Interior has through hall with wide fireplace; ovolo mould plank and
muntin partition to end room, shield top chamfered beads, originally
stair mast, and probably original stairs under casing, and blocked stair
light; at least one jointed cruck. Has group value with Urgashay Farm
Stable and Granary (qv).
