Cottage. C18, possibly with earlier core. Local stone cut and squared;
East portion thatched, the taller West portion having plain clay tiles
between coped gables; brick and stone end chimney stacks. East portion
single storey with attic, 2 bays; West portion 2-storeys, 2-bays - 4
bays in all. Casement windows to bays 1 and 2, one older with leading,
above smaller old casement set into thatched; 6 fielded panel entrance
door to bay 3, windows to bays 3 and 4 of 16-pane sash windows. Further
East a single-storey extension with corrugated asbestos cement sheet
roof and varied fenestration which may have been another cottage.
