Farmhouse. Dated 1692. Local lias stone cut and squared, Doulting stone dressings; Welsh slate roof between coped
gables; yellow brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys with attics, 3-bays. Ovolo mould mullioned windows with labels and plain
inserts; 3-lights to outer bays of rain floors, 2-lights centre upper and attic windows, the latter set in coped
gables; 6-panel central door set in heavy frame under heavy wood lintol with label above, and over this a small stone
plaque inscribed 'SS.ES/RS.HG/1692'. south gable rendered, with single-light windows to first floor. Small extensions
to rear. north gable has blocked doorway, now window, and extending eastwards a range of simple farm buildings in
matching stonework with double Roman tile roof; open roofed throughway in centre, with holes for pigeons in flanking
wall: range of uncertain date, having group value with house. Interior not seen.
