about 40 metres south of Cary

Farm buildings. Dated 1789. Local lias stone cut and squared; Welsh slate roofs, some hipped, some with plain gables. Z-plan Southwards wing mostly 2 storey, with open wagon shed at south end with datestone 'TR 1789' (for Thomas Harris,
a Bristol Merchant, owner 1783-1797) in crown of inner gable; sundry doors at both levels of a 5-bay elevation; smaller doorways have segmental arched voussoired openings. north range has 4 bays of 2 storeys, with a 3 centre arched doorway at the west end, as well as a double cart shell then a single-storey range of stables, etc returning northwards. Queen-post roof trusses. (Victoria County History, Volume III, 1974).
