Detached cottage. Early C19. Local stone cut and squared, roughly coursed; double Roman clay tile roof with simple
verges; brick chimney stack with traditional baffle. 2 storeys, 5-bays. C19 2-light casements, mostly with horizontal
glazing bars, upper windows to bays 1 and 3 only; boarded doors in plain openings to bays 3 and 5: Low roof, despite
signs of having been raised. Interior not seen, but gives impression of humble cottage not much altered.
