House in row. Early C19. Local lias stone cut and squared, with some ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof with sawn
stone ridge, with coped East gable and abutment to west; brick end chimney stacks. 2 storeys; 3 bays, with lower
one-bay extension on East side. 16-pane sash windows in plain openings with voussoired flat arched heads; to lower bay
2 a 6-fielded panel door in a dressed semi-circular arched recess, under radial glazed fanlight, and above it is a
bronze tablet recording that 'Here was born Henry Irving, Knight, Actor, 6th February 1838' - his real name was John
Henry Broadribb. Interior not seen.
