(formerly listed as The Old


Cottage. C18 or earlier. Local lias stone cut and roughly squared; undulating clay pantiled roof between abutments;
brick chimney stack. Two storeys, 2 bays. Three light small pane casement windows of early pattern under timber
lintols; between bays a boarded door with glazed oanel, in heavy frame, also with timber lintol. Interior not seen.
Part of good group of small cottages in a street first recorded in 1349.
