9/202 Still Cottage



(One of two in this street labelled 'The Cottage' on OS map). Cottage, formerly two. Probably early C19. Local lias
stone roughly squared; double Roman clay tile roof; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys; 4 bays, of which the narrower
bays 1 and 2 were separate. Sash windows of 12 panes under dovetailed stone lintols, but no window upper bay 2 window,
and lower bay 2 window in former doorway; between bays 3 and 4 a 4-panel door set in a wood lattice porch with bell hip
lead roof. Interior not seen.
