Offices, formerly house. Probably earlier C19. Local lias stone cut and squared; hipped plain clay tile roof; brick
chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Sash windows in plain openings under dovetailed stone lintols, 16-pane above and
4-pane below; to lower bay 2, set in recess under flat voussoired arch, a 6-panel door having 4 panels glazed. Interior
not seen. This building linked to the complex of Nursery Buildings (q.v). Nursery founded in 1851 as the Royal Nursery,
but later took the name of its founder. (VCH, Vol III, 1974).
