Detached house. Late C16 origins. local lias stone cut and squared, Ham stone dressings; thatched roof between stepped
coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. Single-storey with attics, 4 bays. Hollow charter mullioned windows to bays 1
and 2, with rectangular leaded panes and labels over; small-pane casements bays 3 and 4; above, set into thatch, a C20
3-light leaded casement bay 1, bays 2 and 3 have early pattern 3-light timber windows with leaded panes and iron
opening lights, C20 casement bay 4; offset buttresses of late period both sides of bay 1, then boarded door with 2
glazed panels in heavy frame. Interior not seen, but reported are stud and plank partitions, large stone fireplaces,
chamfered beams with scroll stops, stone staircase in turret, possible bacon curing chamber. (VAG Report, SRO
