Pair cottages. C17 origins. Ham stone cut and squared; double Roman clay tile roof with plain gables; brick chimney
stacks. Two storeys, 4 bays. Hollow-chamfer windows in plain recesses without labels, all 4-light except
upper bay 3 which is 3-light; between bays 1 and 2 and also to lower bay 3 moulded 4-centre arched doorways with
boarded doors. Blocked oval attic window to north gable; 2 storey extension with garage and left over to south gable.
Later extensions and windows to rear. Interior not seen. Enclosing the front gardens is an ashlar wall, average 1.25
metre high, with plinth and thin angled coping, corner piers, sweeps up to house in end returns; gate piers with 2
steps up opposite bay 3, all contributing to setting of the cottages.
