Former school, now church hall. 1837. Local lias, cut and squared. Ham stone dressings; Welsh slate roof to
shallow pitch between coped gables, brick chimney stacks on stone base. Two storeys, single bay. Three-light
hollow chamfer mullioned windows with cinquefoil cusped heads under flat arches and square labels; signs of blocked
doorway to left, and above this a rectangular plaque, with no inscription discernible. Similar windows in north
elevation against churchyard; the north gable has an elaborate finial. Interior not seen. Founded as the Ilchester

Parochial Church Council. (VCH, Vol III, 1974).
