Former house, now hotel. Late C18. Red brick, Flemish bond, colourwashed. Ham stone dressings; clay pantiled roof to
shallow slope between coped gables, behind parapet on facade; brick chimney stacks. Three storeys, 3 bays. Plinth, band
courses, thin cornice, plain rendered parapet, rusticated quoins; sash windows in painted stone architraves, 24-pane to
outer bays, 20-pane to second floor bay 2, and false window under; to lower bay 2 a pair of part-glazed doors under
parly obscured fanlight, set in open stone porch with Tuscan columns and pilasters, plain entablature with flat roof.
Sundry outbuildings to rear. Interior not seen.
