Base of cross. Probably C15. Ham stone. Circular base nearly 3 metres in diameter, 550mm high, set on chamfered plinth,
with pronounced nosing, then two steps each 150mm rise and 200mm wide; socket about 800mm square and 375mm high,
broached on top corners; small fragment of shaft, octagonal on plan. (Pooley, Old Crosses of Somerset, 1877).
