Terrace of 12 alamhouses. Founded 1640, largely rebuilt in early C19. Ham stone dressings to local stone cut and
squared; fish-scale clay tiles with stone ridges between coped gables; stone and reconstructed stone chimney sticks.
Houses grouped in pairs; 1-storey with attic, 1-bay to each house. Hollow chamfer mullioned windows with steel opening
casements, all lights leaded with diamond panes; 3-lights below and 2-lights above, the lower lights set under one
continuous label, the upper lights having separate gables. Cambered arch chamfered doorways set in pairs between
windows, with stone steps up to Northernmost cottages, with old stone sett footpath along whole front of terrace.
