House. C16 origins, but much altered. rendered (spatterdash) and whitened walls; thatch with coping to projecting
gable; brick end chimney stacks. 2-storeys, 5-bays irregular fenestration, of which bay 2 is gabled. Modern casement
windows, mostly with single horizontal glazing bars; timber and tiled porch to bay 4. Interior not seen, but reported
are chamfered crossbeams with stepped runout stops, projecting stair turret (modern steps), 4 smoke-blackened jointed
cruck trusses, and some framed partitions with wattle and daub infill. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, 1975)
