GV II

Cottage (formerly 2). Probably C18. Local stone rubble, whitewashed thatch; brick end chimney stacks. T-shape plan
(rear stalk a modern extension); single-storey with attic, 6-bays. Casement windows with exposed timber lintels;
thatched stone porch to bay -3; above, low set windows to bays -1 and -2 and into thatch over bay -4. The interior has
chamfered crossbeams with single run-off stops, one C18 fireplace partly adapted; collar trussed rafters, the South
bays set slightly higher, quartered and rough sawn timbers.
