Cottage. C17, with possibly C18 extension Southwards. Ham stone rubble, parts squared, with ashlar dressings; thatched
roof between coped gables; brick end and intermediate stacks. Single-storey with attic, 5-bays. Hollow chamfered
mullioned windows with leaded lights to lower bay-4 (3-light with label) lower bay-5 (4-light with label) and upper
bay-5 (3-light without label); between bays-4 and -5 chamfered cambered arched doorway with massive lintel; elsewhere
casement windows with small panes or single horizontal glazing bars, those to ground floor with exposed timber lintels;
upper windows of bays 2, 3, 4 and 5 set into thatch. C20 lean-to garage on South gable - attached to Balaster's Farm
House (qv) on North side. VAG Report, unpublished SRO, August 1982, refers to chamfered beams with step and run-out
stops; wide stone fireplace of C17 in North gable, cracked with early repair, and circular timber stair alongside.
