Gate piers. Circa 1840. Ham stone ashlar. Square piers rebated at corners, about 450mm wide; plinthed, with blind
pointed arched arcaded bands under shaped conical caps, about 3 metres overall height. Heavy wood gate to match,
between; and to East a pedestrian gateway in moulded cambered arched opening with incised spandrils, heavy wooden gate,
In panels on inside are initials and dates, viz J M 1781 and HMS 1634. Good examples and part of overall design of
house and estate.
