House. C18 with C19 alterations and additions. Ham stone ashlar; hipped Welsh slate roof behind low parapet; brick
chimney stacks. 2-storeys, 5 symmetrical bays, main block. Plinth, band course, rusticated quoins; plain sash windows
with vertical glazing bars set in architraved surrounds; projecting central porch with Doric columns and pilasters
supporting full entablature framing architraved doorway. On East side elaborate single-storey 2-light square bay
window with Ionic pilasters and much decoration, dated 1899 in the stained glass. Inside good C18 staircase, with
interesting subjects in plaster relief to soffite; coved ceilings to hall and flanking rooms, with much fielded
panelling and C18 doors: rear portion totally C19, but middle section may represent part of an earlier house.
