One of terrace of six houses. Dated 1887. Ham stone cut and squared, with ashlar dressings; plain clay tiles with
moulded ridges between coped gables; brick chimney stacks. 2-storeys, 1 projecting gabled bay and return with C20
porch. 3-light mullioned window separated by string course; upper window has label, gable has ventilation block and
obelisk finial, with putlog holes as decoration; tile hanging to return over porch. In East gable 3 varied windows with
chamfered surrounds, one 4-centre arched: Datestone of 1887 in this gable, under ogee label. Interior not seen. A
remarkably well detailed terrace with deliberate 'spoiled symmetry', in the style of Norman Shew, and prophetic of the
early 'Garden City' houses; an early and little changed example.
