Semi-detached house. Mostly C18 and later, but with C17 or earlier origins. Ham stone cut and squared, ashlar dressings;
thatched roof, hipped at both ends; ashlar chimney stacks, octagonal plan with moulded caps, arranged in pairs.
'L'-plan;2 storeys; east elevation of 5 bays, of which the central is a projecting 2-storey porch. Casement windows,
all 2-light, mostly rectangular-leaded, but lower bay 5 has small timber-framed panes, with iron-framed opening lights,
the lower windows with timber lintels: porch has chamfered 4-centre-arched lower opening with label, with inner C20
door in heavy frame; above a blind lancet window with traces of a painted 'window' with diamond-leading, rising into
coped gable with gabletted finial. South elevation of 3 bays to match, then comes Forge House (q.v). Interior not
seen.
