metres west of Atherstone
Farmhouse
4.2.58
GV II

Farm buildings. C17/C18. Ham stone coursed rubble; south and part of west range thatched; remainder Welsh slates,
partly hipped, but with coped gable at junction with thatch. 'U'-plan. Mostly 2-storey. South range has two possibly
C17 timber windows in south wall at high level, the other openings now blocked: west range has mostly C19 openings with
brick jambs both levels; north range has three 2-light ovolo-mould mullioned windows with labels, with 2
segmented-arched doorways and other plain doorways, and a throughway towards east end. Roof frame of collar trusses to
south wing, at least; these apparently C18: interiors of remaining buildings not seen. The whole range is an important
complement to Atherstone Farmhouse (q.v.).
