Detached farahouse. Probably C18. Ham stone, mostly coursed rubble, but with cut and squared work under eaves
suggesting raising of roof; thatched roof between coped gables; brick and chimney stacks. 'L'-plan; 2 storeys, 6-bays
irregular fenestration. Horizontal-bar casement windows of 2-lights, with a pair of windows lower bay 2; the windows to
bays 1,5 and 6 heightened and set under segmental arches, with part of another arch to left of bay 2; the window to
upper bay 4 is a square C18 single-light rectangular leaded unit; below to left of bay 4 a C18 door in heavy frame,
with timber hood on wrot- iron bracket. East gable has tiff doorway in new opening, with lean-to at rear; to south-west
corner an extension with gableted rear coping finial. Interior not seen. About 3 metres north of house the boundary
railings, cast -iron horizontal bars with cast uprights and circular corner columns and gateposts, with matching gate
opposite doorway, adding to the setting of the house.
