(The Cottage on 0S Map). Detached cottage. Probably C18, extended C20. Ham stone rubble; thatched roof with rendered
and colourwashed gables, plain to west and half-hipped to east; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 2 bays.
Horizontal-bar casement windows of 2-lights, except lower bay 1 which has a 3-light small-pane casement; the lower
windows having exposed timber lintels; between bays a boarded door in deep recess. Leanto with pantiled roof against
west gable, with C20 casement in partly-blocked former doorway. Interior not seen. Included principally for group
value.
