GV II

Detached house. C17 origins, modified. Ham stone cut and squared, ashlar dressings; double Roman clay tiled roof
between stepped coped gables; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys; 3 bays. Below, ovolo-mould mullioned windows with
separate labels, internal vertical bars and some wrought-iron opening lights, of 3, 3 and 2 lights; to upper bay 3 only
a slightly chamfered mullioned window of 2 lights with unworked mitres top and bottom: indications of a blocked doorway
between bays 2 and 3. East gable has two C20 metal windows above, and a lean-to porch below: west gable has a single
storey with attic extension under clay pantiled roof, plain on north side, and with garage doors and small-pane
casement window set in weatherboarded cladding to gable; above in main gable to house a single-light window, partly
blocked. Entrance to house at rear. Interior not seen.
