GV II

Boundary wall and gateways. Late C18/early C19. Ham stone cut and squared, with ashlar dressings. Walling extends along
whole of eastern boundary, about 1.2 metres high, with thin ashlar coping, with convex quarter-circle sweep to
north-east of house: gateway opposite porch has pair square ashlar piers with cornice caps, step and necked support for
ball finials: at north end a vehicle entrance with larger but matching piers; C20 gates: the whole an important part of
the setting of West End House (q.v.).
