Motor house with flanking ranges. Circa 1921-25 by Forbes and Tate. Coursed rubble, tiled roofs, coped verges, tall
squared rubble stacks. Tudor style. Single storey and attic, 1:1:1:1:1:1:1 bays, first, third, fifth and seventh under
front-facing gables, centre unit set back with walls to motor yard, 4 heraldic lions-couchant in front, inside openings
to garages, plank doors. Wings with 2-light stone-mullioned windows, labels, set together in groups of 3 on ground
floor. To centre of each wing a 4-centred arch door opening in moulded surround, to right plank door, to left giving
onto a throughway with arcade of 5 columns at the rear. Roofs with hipped dormers with tiled cheeks, 2-light casements;
square-paned leaded lights.
