Farmhouse. Circa 1921-25 by Forbes and Tate for A.A. Lyle, in the grounds of Barrington Court (qv). Rubble, coursed and
squared, freestone dressings, hipped stone-tiled roof, tall off ridge rubble stacks. Symmetrical front, Tudor style.
Two storeys, 1:1:1 bays, narrow central projecting porch with tall pointed gable. Stone-mullioned windows with labels,
of 5-lights to ground floor flanking porch, and 3-lights on the first floor under the eaves; 2-light window to first
floor of porch, breather to gable face. Four-centred arch to door opening, plank floor, Single-storeyed wing at rear.
