Agent's house, in the grounds of Barrington Court, (qv). 1921-25 by Forbes and Tate for A.A. Lyle. Rubble, coursed and
squared, freestone dressings, hipped plain tile roof, tall rubble stacks. Symmetrical front, Tudor style. Two storeys
and attic, 2:1:2 bays, 2, 3, and 4-light stone-mullioned windows; projecting central porch rising to attic with
front-facing gable; continuous label over heads of ground floor windows. Four-centred arch outer door opening, plank
door.
