Dated 1824 with later alterations and additions; rough-cast render, flat interlocking
concrete roofing tiles. Main building 2-storeys, north elevation with ogee curved
gable parapet, 3 gallery windows (one blocked) with semi-circular heads, keystones
and gothic pattern glazing bars. Central projecting flat-roofed porch, panelled double
doors. Late C19 Sunday School addition to east side, 1 1/2-storeys, render, slate lean-to
roof. Sash windows. Rear wing, 3-storeys, rough-cast render, slate roof, brick
chimney stack, sash windows. Art-Deco style cast-iron railings and gate to forecourt
and steps.
Sited in a prominent position overlooking the town, approached by footpath adjoining
Nos 3-5 Brendon Road.
