1/106 Whitehall



House. C17, extensively altered early C19 and enlarged circa 1914. Roughcast over rubble, pilaster quoin strips, double
span tiled roof hipped to left, brick stacks right and set in slightly left. Plan: parallel range. 2 and a half
storeys, 1:3 bays; hipped one bay left matched by dummy wall right with arched niche on groundfloor, 16 pane sash
windows with pointed arched tops on groundfloor, open pediment pilaster doorcase centre of main block with arched
leaded fanlight and 6 panel door. Interior: arched door with Gothick style moulding on firstfloor, probably from nearby
Chapel Cleeve (qv) which was enlarged at the same time as this property, the latter being part of the Chapel Cleeve
