fronting Manor Farmhouse



Gate, gatepiers and wall. Gate and gatepiers circa 1856 designed by John Norton, cast iron, fleur-de-lys headed
gatepiers and standards to gate, tripartite headed uprights and trefoil headed reinforcement, similar in design to
those at St Audries, West Quantoxhead (qv). Manor Farmhouse (qv) was part of the Acland Hood estates in the mid C19.
Wall: red sandstone squared and coursed masonry with flat stone coping about 1.25 metres high fronting farmhouse.
