House. C17 altered C18. Coursed red sandstone rubble, steeply pitched slate roof, decorative ridge tiles, brick stacks
gable ends. L-plan, 2 cell and cross passage with rear wing abutting Cloud Cottage (qv). 2 storeys, 2 bays; first floor
C17 4-light wooden hollow chamfered mullions, groundfloor left early C18 3-light mullioned and transomed leaded window
in segmental headed opening, right C19 2-light casement, central early C19 3 x 2 panel door with chamfered ribs,
similar to that of Shasta Cottage (qv). Small recessed stone panel above left of doorway, keyed for plaster. Long right
return with unusual 'tent-like' top to leaded window in right gable end.
