(Old Cross House)



House with shop, now dwelling. C18, altered and extended mid C19. Roughcast over random rubble, Shallow pitched slate
roof, overhanging eaves, soffit board, paired decorative brackets, brick stacks right gable end and to left of
entrance. 2 storeys, 1:3 bays; all openings with Tudor style hood moulds, 12 pane sash windows right, certral one
smaller and later than others, centre left quarter glazed door also under hood mould with double garage, in outer bay
left. The latter was originally a shop window, probably in a C19 extension to earlier dwelling whose entrance was
second bay right, Interior not viewed. (Photograph in NMR).
