Large detached house. Probably early C19. 3 storeys. Roughcast. Hipped slate
roofs. Tall ashlar chimney-stacks. Cornice with 2 rows of modillions. Centre
of street front breaks forward. Chamfered quoins. 3windows, the centre ground
floor window in a sunk panel with arched head. Keystones. Sashes with thin glazing
bars. Lower wing to right has parapet coping swept up. Entrance front with projecting
Tuscan porch. Stone garden wall along street with 2 rusticated gatepiers, ball
finials. Part of Millfield School (1973).
