At right-angles to the street. There are 2 parts to this property of differing
dates, probably early C17 and early C19. 2 storeys. The part with gable-end to
Bove Town (formerly a barley mow) is of coursed rubble. The rest is brick on a
rubble plinth. Pantiled roofs of differing pitch. Plain eaves cornice. 3 windows,
paired casements with centre glazing bar to right. Ground floor to right has casements
under segmental heads. Large doorway to left under brick segmental arch and lintel.
Smaller door to right.
Nos 80 to 100 (even) including No 84a, and the Stone-flagged banks in front of Nos
76 to 100 (even) form an important group.
