Nos 7 and 9
ST 5038 8/18
Late C17/early C18. 2 storeys. Stone rubble cottages at right-angles to road.
Pantile roofs. 4 windows, mostly wood casements of 2 and 3 lights, some with lead
glazing. One 3-light stone mullioned window in gable-end. Some original hoodmoulds.
2 windows with segmental brick heads to right. 2 plain wooden doors under wooden
Nos 3 and 5 form a group; also the listed buildings from No 3 to No 17 (on the North
east side), Glastonbury Abbey (see Magdalene Street), Abbey House Retreat, Wall
around grounds of the Abbey and Abbey Retreat House , all form an important group.
