Circa 1811-20. Wide 4-bay front in ashlar with hipped mansard roof. 3
storeys and attic. Rusticated quoins; panelled piers flanking bays having
Ionic caps with palmettes. Outer bays in channelled breaks. Glazing bar
sash window. Modillion cornice and parapet. Ground floor channelled. No 2
has an early C20 shop-front, retaining one Ionic pilaster, and 2 doorways;
the left-hand one tall and segment-headed with struck voussoirs, 4 Panel
door, traceried fanlight above an overlight; the right-hand one a 6 panel
door in part blind opening. No 2A has projecting porch with Ionic
pilasters. 8 panel double doors. Low segment-headed door with struck
voussoirs to right. Modern shop-front set in older position.
