south-west angle of
II Parish Church of
St John the Baptist

1901-04 by local art-metal firm of Singers. Cast-iron standard with crook to
suspend lamps. Crook filled with art-nouveau style ornament. Adapted to town
lighting (an early provincial example of electrification).
