Early-mid C18. Front rendered. Ripped slate roof with 3 dormers, one on right-
hand hip with glazing on 2 sides. Plinth, moulded cornice on modillions (some
retaining rosette decoration), blocking course. 2 storeys. 5 windows, sashes
with glazing bars, moulded architraves, pediments on pulvinated friezes to ground
floor windows. Central panelled door in moulded eared architrave surround, doorcase
with steep broken pediment enclosing cartouche on Ionic pilasters, and with Phoenix
Fire Insurance plaque in tympanum. 'L' plan, 2 storey, 2 window wing to rear, one
window retains flat mullion with ogee moulding and drip. Set back stable
extension behind rear wing with 3 gables, central one with ashlar oeil de boeuf and
chamfered doorway. Yard entrance in front. This building was used as a Market House
during the C19.
